Welcome, Connecticut seems like one of the best markets in the country. A true honey hole. I see a lot of nice HIFI equipment on marketplace in CT.

I'll darken it somehow so your eye doesn't go to it. The top needs some attention too but it's gonna clean up nicely and live with the others

I think he's more of a HIFI receiver guy than a console restoration expert. Leaving the caps is half ass. He gave it a lick and a promise not a full restoration.

Thanks! I would leave that Motorola piano key switch permanently in the ON position and switch it remotely via a power strip. That is a really clear sounding 3 channel with the 12" woofer and PP6V6 amp. Not quite the 15" bass monster... but still very punchy. There's only a handful of cap...
